Great Women International is excited to announce the changes in the 2014 Festival plans. We have decided to move the Festival to December on an Annual Basis due to the fact that this time of the year offers us all the opportunity to unwind and leave behind our problems from a long year of hard work, stress and so forth. During Festive season there is a light-hearted, jovial mood that lingers in the air, we are in ‘Celebration-mode’, Great Women International therefore believes that this is the perfect time for us to host the Festival. This time around, we will not have the roof as our ceiling but the Blue Sky and Bright Stars because our 2014 Festival is an open Air Concert while enjoying a picnic on the Lawn.

 

 

We have also narrowed down the Genre of the music that we will be showcasing at our Festival because this then compels a particular market to attend a festival of this nature. Our audience will be engulfed by the Beautiful, Rich Melodic sounds of Jazz and Afro-Soul Artists like Ms. Judith Sephuma and Ms. Suthukazi Arosi, Powerful vocalists who have graced many platforms across the globe. Our audience can also expect the soulful sounds of Fresh Talents discovered on IDOLS South Africa like Ms. Crushanda Forbes, Ms. Shekhinah Donnell and other fresh sounds from Artists like Ms. Lindiwe Suttle, daughter of South Africa’s first Talk Show Host Ms. Felicia Mabuza Suttle and many more popular Artists local Artists in the City of Cape Town.

 

 

The new objective of the Festival is to Celebrate the birth and existence of Great Women in our country, the continent and the world. Women have come a long way and we believe that the Great works of Women Achievers absolutely have to be amplified in order to set a good example for girl-children so that they  can have powerful role models to look up to. It is not enough for us to achieve and not spread the seed, one of the most powerful methods to be used for the total emancipation of Women will come about by means of Positive Influence. The more we amplify the rewards that hard-working women reap, the more girl-children will be inspired to Reach for their Dreams.
