Claire Phillips

Claire Phillips hails from Belhar in the City of Cape Town. She is a SAMA Award Winning Artist with a Serene Stage Presence that has enchanted many of her fans over the years. Her first album was recorded in 2006, she remains wildly popular in the Mother city and continues to Draw huge crowds to her performances.

Claire’s vocal range complements a repertoire that includes jazz, funk, soul and folk. She normally performs in a trio: her own guitar and voice working alongside the bass of Andre Hope, and the drums of Junior Mbouta.

She has performed on platforms such as the Cape Town Jazz Festival, Kirstenbosch, Zula Bar etc
